Created in California in 2006, Lacar LLC began by offering support to the hotel industry. Eager to grow, during 2008 they decided to invest in the development of Internet enterprises. The first two websites were www.ecotrotters.com, an ecotourism portal combined with a virtual community of travellers, and www.ombai.com, a worldwide directory of alternative medicine, that will soon be a virtual community as well.
