Ecotulum
Ecotulum was created in the spring of 1998 in Tulum, Riviera Maya, Mexico, with the opening of the boutique hotel, Cabañas Copal. In January 2003, Maya Spa's doors opened, a holistic spa whose treatments are based on ancient Mayan traditions, and began operating inside the Cabañas Copal hotel. During this same year, two new boutique hotels also opened: Azulik and Zahra. Maya Spa began offering holistic services in all three hotels, including room service treatments at Azulik.
Today, this company consists of three boutique hotels and a spa as well as an extensive knowledge of international markets. Moreover, they are in the process of an ambitious hotel project with an extreme ecological concept, which will boast a unique and exciting experience, whose opening is planned for the beginning of 2011.
